Younha is a solo female singer signed to Sistus Entertainment. She first got her start as a singer in 2004 when a producer of the Japanese drama “Tokyo Wankei ~Destiny of Love~” chose her song “Promise” as an insert song. However, her next single “Abandon Star“ was the song that kickstarted her career when it was used as the ending theme for the popular Anime “Bleech“ and immediately became a hit. From there she gained much success from future releases and even became the 2nd Korean (After BoA) to have reached the top 20 on the Oricon chart. She later debuted in her home country, Korea and obtained immediate success with her album “The Perfect Day To Say I Love You.” From her success, she has become one of the most legendary female solo artist in both Korea and Japan.
