The boys of INFINITE are back with yet another single for the year of 2013. This time the boys are promoting “Destiny” which is one of their most impressive and probably expensive since the MV was filmed in Los Angeles and at Universal Studios where movies like “Transformers” and “Inception” have been filmed (which ironically, INFINITE has a track called “Inception” on the new mini album….I see what you did there Woollim).
INFINITE is also the first KPOP group to be given permission to film at Universal Studios in California.
The wait is over all you INSPIRIT’s and HamsterGyu fans. The “Solo Invasion” has begun!! Leader Sunggyu has released his very own solo album titled “Another Me”.
The song and MV can be a bit confusing and be hard to understand at the first watch, but I found this lovely comment on allkpop that really explains it quite well.
syapeko – “So this is what’s going on in #INFINITE @leadergyu #Sungkyu’s new MV 60sec. So L sees the girl and wants to meet her. Time stops for 60sec and he sees their entire relationship play out right up until their break up. Because their relationship is doomed he decides to get up and leave his ring (by the way you never see it on his finger until he puts it on in the alternate timeline). In the current timeline (where they have yet to meet) she sees the forgotten ring and tries to give it back to him. L tells her to keep it because he already saw that they would break up. When she looks into his eyes she she is able to see the alternate timeline as well. This is shown by the alternate timeline video reversing quickly. This also resets the timeline so that they never meet. The scene where L offers her umbrella is the first time they would have met IF he decided to go with the relationship. But because he doesn’t he ends up alone. GENIUS!“
The wait is finally over INSPIRITS! After climbing they’re way up the KPOP totem poll in 2011 with their single “Be Mine” and taking the hearts of fans in Japan, INFINITE is finally making their Korean comeback with their third mini-album “INFINITIZE”. This time around the boys are promoting their new song “The Chaser”.
“The Chaser” takes on an emotional approach as it talks about a boy letting his lover go, but not before vowing he’ll “chase” her and win her heart back.
Though the album is a mini-album, it’s the longest mini-album INFINITE has ever released. It’s got 7 tracks, including “The Chaser”, “Only Tears”, and “In The Summer” which is the full version of the Hidden Track found on the “Over The Top” and “Paradise” albums.
It seems like it was just yesterday when WOOLIM Entertainment released a comeback teaser of INFINITE’s return, and fangirls everywhere were crying at the 2 month wait. Now it’s finally May, and in exactly a week INFINITE will be releasing their highly anticipated comeback mini album “INFINITIZE”. And as a special treat for fans, INFINITE has released a ballad track from the album titled “Only Tears”.
And if the release wasn’t special enough, today marks INFINITE’s 700th day since debut! Congratulations boys! May “INFINITIZE” top the charts and win many awards. And may this be the start of a brand new era for INFINITE.
