Jay Park/Jaebeom is a singer signed to Sidus HQ EntertainmentHe was originally a member and leader of popular idol group 2PM, but after questions were raised over some of his comments on his myspace he left the group, company, and music scene and disappeared for a large amount of timeAround late 2009, fans spotted Jay attending bboying battles and at theBreakin 4Haiti charity event where he and his dancing crewArt ofMovementparticipated to raise money for victims of the Haiti earthquakeFinally, in 2010 Jay officially reappeared via YouTube singing his own rendition of B.o.Bs hit singleNothin On You.”  In less than 24 hours the video reached over a million views, and sales and ratings of the original song sky rocketed over in KoreaLater that year Jay finally returned to Korea, and became a solo artist under Sidus HQIn 2011, he released his first solo album and became the first Korean singer on Music Bank to receive a #1 award the same day as his debut stage.  He music has received attention from both Korean and American fans.
