Brian Joo is a Korean–American singer signed to Jellyfish Entertainment. He grew up in New Jersey where he was raised by strict Korean customs and learned to speak both Korean and English from a young age. In 1999 he flew to South Korea to be trained under SM entertainment and debuted as one of the two members of Fly to the Sky (the other being legendary R&B singer Hwanghee). After the duo disbanded in 2009, Brian began focusing more on his solo career and didn‘t receive a lot of attention until 2010 when he made a Korean cover of American pop star Jason Derulo‘s “In My Head“ and received an explosive amount of attention (Even to the point where the two performed the song together on the same stage). Aside from singing, Brian has been on many variety shows and is known for his comical and diva like antics. He also wants to persue a career in acting in the future.
