The Wonder Girls are a five member girl group signed to JYP Entertainment, and are one of the most popular and influential Idol girl groups in Korea. Throughout their career their have won two Daesungs and are the first Korean group to have their single make it on the Billboard Hot 100 (Nobody). The girls are managed by JYP himself, and had to go through the ‘JYP Academy‘ training system that involves rigorous training in vocal, dance, acting, and language. In 2012, the Wonder Girls teamed up with TeenNick and released their very own movie titled “The Wonder Girls” and are expected to release their first American album later in the year.
