Super Junior has returned with their repackaged album of “Sexy, Free & Single” now titled “Spy”! The track has been receiving a lot of attention for it’s unique change of beat throughout the song.

One of the biggest Hallyu leaders of all time are back! After almost a year Super Junior have released their 6th studio album. This time the kings of KPOP have returned with their new single “Sexy, Free & Single”. Although from the title most people perceived the song to be about our 10 single men looking for a girl, the song is actually about persevering through hardships and through it becoming a better person.
Not only is the song inspiring and memorable, but the track is all the more special since it marks the return of member KangIn after two long years of being in the service. This is also going to be leader Leeteuk’s last album before going through his mandatory military duty for the next two years.

Funny of the Week : It’s SuJu’s Kyuhyun! I found this little treasure this week and I couldn’t stop laughing. On a certain show [won't mention the name] the members had to write anonymous notes for Sungmin, Kangin, Eunhyuk, and Heechul, but it became pretty obvious to the origin of the writer who kept mentioning Star Craft. This was during the “SORRY, SORRY” promotions and was one of the first appearances of Kyuhyun’s witty (or sinister) side.
On a side note, legendary KPOP mixer DJ Masa will be releasing his highly anticapated 2011.2 mashup titled “The Good-bye Party”. It will be released within the next few hours or so, so be sure to check our his channel and keep an eye out for it. Knowing DJ Masa, it wont be anything short of amazing!

For those of you who don’t know who Zelo is, Bang Yong Guk is making a comeback with a unit group called “Bang & Zelo”. Zelo is another TS Entertainment trainee who is said to have a very deep voice, can rap, and is skilled at performing acrobatics and dance. And to top it all off…he’s only FIFTEEN FREAKIN YEARS OLD!! Does this look like the face of a fifteen year old? –>

Heres the teaser for their upcoming single “Never Give Up”. (Heres a treat: The MV for the song is the same director for SNSD’s “The Boys” MV and BEAST/B2ST’s “Shock” MV.)
Looks like there’s more drama behind the scenes than on-screen when it comes to hit TV show “Spy Myung Wol”
The drama has been receiving its ups and downs due to poor ratings and popularity, but that’s nothing compared to what they’ve dealt with behind the scenes. The lead actress, Han Ye Seul, who plays the lead character “Myeong-wol” had had several arguments with the PD due to extreme working conditions (lack of sleep) and rough filming dates. But in a matter of one week the situations escalated into something most people would expect to see IN a drama rather on a productions set of a drama. For those of you who are curious about the matter or are confused about what happened, here’s a timeline–>
TIMELINE
[8/13] Han Ye Seul refuses to show up on the set for “Spy Myung Wol” Sources say that the actress and has had several disagreements and arguments with the PD about balancing her schedule and has appeared late on several occasions. One example of this is on August 14, filming was scheduled to begin at 6:30 AM, and she showed up a 3:30 PM. She has also left in the middle of filming on several occasions
[8/14] Han Ye Seul’s agency, Sidus HQ, says that she hasn’t appeared on set due to poor health. They confirm that she has appeared late on set, but that’s only because the actress has a packed schedule, and is extremely tired. Filming for “Spy Myung Wol” was said to end at 2AM one night and it ended at 5AM instead. Which only game her two hours to sleep until the next filming began at 7:00 AM.
[8/15] Han Ye Seul requests that the PD for “Spy Myung Wol” be switched out. Contradicting what her agency said, her not showing up was based on disagreements with the PD. On numerous occasions she fought with the PD to lighten her schedule and in turn asked KBS to switch PDs. Instead, they added a 2nd PD and still refused to change her schedule.
[8/15] Co-Star Eric opens up about the matter. Eric: ““Though the viewer ratings and reports for ‘Spy Myung Wol’ haven’t been that great, the rest of the actors and I have been enduring it and doing our best while thinking, ‘If we work hard, there will be good results’. Of course, my tight schedule and filming itself have been a little hard, but I’ve been trying my best to keep my promise with the viewers.”
[8/15] Han Ye Seul leaves the country heading for America. KBS found out not from her, but through numerous reports on the news and is rumored that even her agency had no knowledge of her departure. KBS Spokesperson: “If it is true that Han Ye Seul has left the country, she must take all responsibility for the situation with “Spy Myung Wol… There were some aspects of her issues that could be understood as a fellow actor/actress, but if it’s true that she has left the country alone, she has crossed the line.”
[8/16] Spy Myung Wol” production team announces plan on suing Han Ye Seul. The released a statement saying that the actress was not only requesting schedule changes, but changing parts in the script for her benefit. KBS: “We trust that as an actress with 10 years of experience, she would have known the consequences of what happens when an episode is canceled due to inadequate footage. Despite knowing such facts, she left the set without any sense of responsibility for her actions…“
[8/16] Han Ye Seul arrives in Los Angeles. Han Ye Seul: “The drama production scene was very hard. I’ve dropped everything now. The rumors surrounding Hwang In Hyuk PD [and myself] are not true. I want to rest. With this incident, I hope my junior actors will be able to film dramas in a good environment.“
[8/16] Hairstylist for “Spy Myung Wol” defends Han Ye Seul. Hairstylist: “I guess if you’re a celebrity, you are forced to sacrifice sleep for two months straight. You can’t afford to be late, you can’t be sick, and if you need to pass out from exhaustion, you need to do it in front of a large group of people so that you can prove how tired you really are.
[8/17] Han Ye Seul returns to Seoul. Swarmed by reporters and photographers, Han Ye Seul states: “Sorry. From now on, I wish to start again. I just wanted everyone to understand how difficult and poor the working conditions for actors are. I didn’t want to see someone else become a victim like me. I know that I am at fault, causing a lot of trouble and obstacles for the cast and staff on set. However, I believe that what I did was right because if I didn’t do this, the working conditions will not change.”
[8/17] Han Ye Seul reconciles with “Spy Myung Wol” producers and releases an offical statement on her agency’s website. Han Ye Seul: “I sincerely apologize for having caused so many people to worry.”
[8/17] Eric states via twitter about reforming the working environment of dramas. Eric: “Unless you set up a production company to produce a drama knowing that you won’t be able to make a profit, I know that this is an issue that will be hard to reform.” and “I, too, am planning to say what I need to say as [Han Ye Seul's] oppa during our team dinner tonight when it’s just the two of us, but I will be accepting her again like old times“
[8/17] Rating for “Spy Myung Wol” increase by 1.6%… Shocking I know. Due to the situations surround Han Ye Seul’s departure many people have been turning into the drama. It was also reported that some of the quotes said to Han Ye Seul’s character in the airing episode could possibly mean more outside the storyline. “Are you the only one spending nights awake? Are you the only celebrity here?”
[8/18] Filming for “Spy Myung Wol” finally proceeds, but is a bit awkward on the set. Han Ye Seul is quiet on set and is barely talking to co-star Eric. But she is working hard to make-up for lost production time.
[8/18] Han Ye Seul makes up with Eric and apoligzes to everyone on the set of “Spy Myung Wol”. It is reported that she knelt on the ground and gave a sincere apology to Eric, and also the production team. Han Ye Seul: After causing this incident, I am thankful that I was welcomed warmly when I returned. Even if I opened my heart to everyone, it wouldn’t be enough. I’ll use all the strength I drew from these difficulties to film my parts.”
That’s pretty much the gist of everything that has happened. I can’t believe that all of this transpired in matter of one week.
